With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we are excited to share the launch of a new outreach initiative in Greece. After a season of prayerful discernment and seeking the Lord’s direction, this vision nurtured for over two years is becoming a reality. A recent visit by three team members in April affirmed God’s call to expand our ministry and provide tangible support to refugee families living in Greece. Through this endeavor, we aim to distribute food vouchers and essential aid to those facing profound challenges.
Greece is the gateway to Europe and a common destination for people arriving from the Middle East with its geographical position being ideal as a transit and destination country for refugees and asylum seekers. Today, the "Persian refugees" in Greece are more likely to be Iranian citizens fleeing political persecution in their home country. This is the people group in Greece whom we are now serving.
We are honored to introduce Wycliffe Washington as our representative for this initiative. Since 2020, we have valued his collaboration, and his 22 years of experience in humanitarian aid and development speak to his deep dedication to serving others. Wycliffe’s expertise spans project management, strategic partnerships, localization efforts, fundraising, and community capacity-building in crisis settings. Above all, his unwavering faith and compassion for those in need make him an exceptional leader for this ministry expansion.
