Joanne Liang

Joanne has served with Restoring Faith, Inc. as Treasurer and Director of Restoring Refugees since its inception. She has been active in assistance to Iraqi, Syrian and Sudanese refugee families in Jordan since 2012, both independently and through collaboration with other organizations. Living in Jordan from 2009 to 2015 permits her to know and understand the culture, the people and their needs.

Joanne is joyfully fulfilling her passion and call to service the persecuted refugees by developing long-term strategies to assist them. She has spearheaded fundraising programs geared toward food, clothing, and emergency assistance for refugee families and travels abroad twice a year for implementation and maintenance of the projects while providing encouragement and guidance to the field workers.

As Director of Restoring Refugees, Joanne has coordinated numerous efforts to help meet the needs of thousands of the poor, sick and suffering in countries that host persecuted refugees. She creates and manages budgets and oversees the disbursement of aid to 18 projects in Jordan, Greece, Lebanon, Pakistan and unnamed countries which cannot be mentioned. As Treasurer, she believes that proper management of funding and operations is part of the key to success and blessings that Restoring Faith, Inc. has received.

Joanne has 33 years of previous combined experience working with charitable non-profit organizations and serving on various boards.
