Alucia Kojan

The Field Manager for Restoring Refugees has more than 20 years of experience in refugee and internally displaced program development and management. She joined the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) where she worked in Sudan, Southern Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Chad, and Central Africa. At the end of her UN assignment in 2013, Alucia continued helping national NGOs, faith-based organizations, and communities in a range of humanitarian contexts in the Middle East.

 

Alucia specializes in emergency response planning, risk reduction, sustainability and resilience building, and community engagement with vulnerable populations, including refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), host families, returnees, and minority groups such as women and children. Alucia is committed to seeing a world where all people are safe from marginalization, hunger, poverty, and live with dignity.
